Renting with pets: How can pet resume help you to move in?

I was looking for such topic on the forum, and unfortunately didn't find even one thread that gives an answer on that acute question for many tenants, that own a pet. In any case, it would be interesting to hear feedbacks from tenants about their experience, hints, pet resume effectiveness and from landlords (opinion about renting with pets, documents that are required, extra fees etc.). Let's discuss, lady and gentlemen.

this is really a landlord specific topic, so you may get a million different opinions.  but, to comment on your specific post; I would like references for the pet.  If I could call a few of your previous landlords that are familiar with the pet(s) that will be in my home, that might help with my decision.
