Tenant wants indoor door lock changed

Tenant has moved in a few months ago and has a small child. The master bedroom door and the storm door has a lock, but I don't have the key and tenant is afraid child will lock himself in, in the case of the master bedroom. They want the door locks changed or re-keyed. Am I responsible for paying to change the locks or having them re-keyed?

I assume from a legal standpoint, she rented as is and you shouldn't technically have to change, but if anything were to happen and a child got hurt, I also assume you could be held liable if it is discovered that she brought a "safety issue" to your attention and you ignored it.

No legal advice is given.

From my personal standpoint, I suggest just changing the locks. A good landlord should not provide a door with a lock that cannot be unlocked if accidently locked. Doorknobs are cheap enough, and keep tenant happier.
