starting your own property management company

we have a multifamily property and we would like to have more savings via write offs. is there a way of creating my own property management company maybe under LLC Or some form of entity and then have that manage the prooerty, then have that management company which we created claim write offs as well?? any help around this would be great, or suggestions. thanks.
