2nd Post ever!

Thanks in Advance BP community. 

Sorry if this topic has be hashed out already.

For a new landlord even if you only have one rental property how important is it to get a LLC.

I've heard many different opinions on this, can't wait to hear your thoughts.

    not important at all. Just make sure you have adequate insurance to cover yourself.

    LLCs are more to worry about when you have more assets.

    Trying to start with an LLC limits you to the types of loans you can use. And until the LLC builds enough credit on its own you'd have to give a personal guarantee anyway.
