We just had a big wind storm in Maryland , fortunatly no rain . But I had some damage , shingles , about a square and a half blew off 1 of my rentals , I will be using insurance on this one , its not minor .

Now for the complaints , another house I have has been without electric since Friday afternoon and its Tue night , and the electric company estimates 2 more days .   The tenant is complaining to me about it , ( what can I do I am not the utility company ?)   They want me to discount the rent since they lost their food and its chilly in the house .   Plus its on a well and there is no water .

I told them , no . They have to deal with it just like everybody else .  But I did tell them where to buy a generator .  I mentioned to  them their renters insurance may cover the food . And to top it off there is a tree down in the front yard and she thinks its a priority that I clean it up .  ( its not blocking anything it can wait a week or so till i free up some time )
