What would cause a tenant's background check to no reveal felonie
I have a possible tenant who would like to add her boyfriend to the lease. He has a non-violent felony record, first time offender, great job, great guy... however ran background check and he came back approved. What would cause a background check to not reveal felonies? We use MRI resident check software. We expected that it would come back denied immediately, but it didn't. Thoughts?
