Hi, How is everyone screening potential tenants lately. Do you meet them first and give them a paper application, or are you sending them to a site to fill out an application first to see if they meet the requirements before you actually set up a showing?

Hi @Joseph Tramonte,

When we list a property for rent and begin getting leads. We'll reach out to those leads, and ask them qualifying questions, like: Move in date, pets, who's going to be living there, and then dive into the requirements. "We require our applicants to meet certain criteria, that are 600+ credit, monthly income equal to or greater than 3 times monthly rent, no evictions, no felonies, and rental history verification.

If they agree, we send them to our site to apply through Appfolio. If those results come back good, we move forward with generating a lease agreement.

Good luck!
