I'm about to venture out and get my first tenant and I want to put the best foot forward. I will be managing the property myself to get started and I am curious if there is anything I should pay special attention in terms of processes and forms as a landlord in the great state of Pure Michigan? Grand Rapids in particular.

@Tyler Hyma the state forms are universal but each municipality might specific written and or unwritten rules. Join your local REIA and you’ll find all of the resources and support you’ll need there.
