I'd like to install 1 or 2 security cameras at my rental property. I'm confused by any online information on the types of cameras. I will not have access to wifi ( I don't want to use a tenants wifi to connect to the cameras). How do I install cameras or are there any suggestions on cameras that I can install where I don't have to worry about this?

You will need a computer or NVR to store recordings. You will not get any notifications when someone is there doing damage or breaking in but you can replay the footage after the fact if they dont steal the computer or NVR.
I use Digital watchdog cameras and software. It is not a cheap camera sys in a box that you get at Walmart.

@Timothy Woodland why not use tenant WiFi and give access of footage to tenant. That will be best solution. No one likes being watched over. I recommend starting with video doorbells. Our propeties have them along with other automation.
