Mud dauber wasp

Since there are renewed threads about termites here, it made me think of this. Does anyone else have problems with these wasps (they build a termite-like mud tube). On my REO there were several mud spots on the ceiling of the garage that I could not remove, and had to use Kilz on finally, and they have started building tubes on the back window frames as well.

We get them all summer long. Here's a link to a treatment. Do a google search for additional info. Basically just scrape them off. http://www.ehow.com/video_5238873_rid-mud-dauber-wasps.html
