What's rent guarantee insurance and who pays for it?

Also, could someone please provide me with a ballpark range of how much it costs annually and what is included in coverage...Thanks!

It's like a form of Homeowner's Insurance but the landlord pays for it (though you could argue the tenant is ultimately paying for it out of cash flow). 

I would talk to your insurance agent about the cost range.
