Landlord passed away
Hello -
I'm currently a tenant in a commercial property in Pennsylvania and my landlords are a father ("landlord a") and son ("landlord b"). I was in the process of entering an amendment for a reduction of rent with my landlords when landlord b suddenly passed away. Landlord A and Landlord B's family are okay honoring the negotiated terms and reduced rent.
My question is, how do we document this from a drafting perspective? Do we need to add a provsion to the amendment updating the landlord or can we just have the wife of landlord b sign on his behalf?

@Angad Patheja You're working in commercial real estate, an attorney should be reviewing all legal documents you sign, as commercial does not have the protections that residential does. An attorney will know how to handle this issue to protect you.
