Rental property maintenance

I am looking to get into the RE world and while doing my homework, a few questions came to mind... Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Where do you typically look for, to get a maintenance team for your rental?

How can you evaluate the company/handyman beforehand? (If possible)

Should the tenant contact them directly?

Any other tips on this?

Thanks!

A good maintenance guy could come recommended or the process of Googling to find someone.

You'll have a lot of headaches at first, and probably have to fire a lot of them, but eventually you'll find someone who you can trust that does good work.

Unfortunately, these things take time.

Best of luck!
