Who do you recomend I call for mold?

Hello follow BP members!

I'm pretty sure I have mold in one of my houses. Apparently, there was standing water for a few months by a wall outside the house. I looked into the problem and found out that the puddle had a source, which was a leaking pipe that leaked about five cups of water a day on average, which kept the outside puddle full. I fixed the leak and the standing water is gone. But I'm afraid that mold might have formed in the wall.

Another reason I believe there's mold because behind the wall, there's a few wooden shelves, and if you feel the back of one shelf, it's wavy and has puffed up.

Any suggestions on how I should handle this or who I should call to check this problem out asap!

Thanks y'all in advance!

I would send a contractor first to assess and open that wall. No reason to call a mold company until you know and depending on where you are, small amounts of mold may not require a licensed remediation. The swelling is from the moisture so probably no question the moisture got in there, but how much biological growth it grew is questionable. The integrity of that wall with all that damage would be my first concern so I’d send contractor to open it up and see what’s in there!
