I am stuck with a property management company

I have a one year contract with this property management company. They have been charging me for stuff which I have not asked them to do. I have clearly communicated to them multiple times not to do anything in my property without my written approval. Their charges are crazy high. Like they said they had to check water pressure and charged me $220. Replaced my water heater without my consent which was working perfectly fine. The list goes on.. is there a way to legally get out of the contract?

@Saravanan Varadan most property management contracts provide the owner with the right to terminate with 30 days notice for violating terms. They also typically state no work can be done above a certain dollar amount without first getting approval from the owner.

Read your contract and if it has those clauses, then send them a certified letter documenting their violation of the contract terms.

You can fire them, but the question is - do you then owe them anything? Look for the termination clause and read it carefully. Some state one month fee, some 90 days and others will say you owe them for the remaining duration. I really think most put that in as a negotiation point when you exit.
