Do we need to have liability insurance as a landlord in case of tenants sue you for any incident/accidents/injury?

@Chirag Dave yes, any of those reasons and many more. Get insurance to cover your assets. So if you have 5 mil in assets get 5 mil as an umbrella insurance policy.
