Manipulators trying to be renters

here's a rant on the totally abysmal quality of fools trying to mnipulate me into renting my lovely SFR. I use the rental application form as a qualifier and when they can't seem to get it together to submit it (perhaps illiterate?) it's a big time saver to move on. It has all the usual questions about name, address, vehicle, SSN, etc. but it's rare that i get one back (I email them). Many excuses. Can't find their IRS forms etc. If you're looking for a new place you need those tax returns ...Also I learned to require them to call me 2 hours before we are meeting to tour the house. If they dont, I dont need to show up. I never hear back. It has never taken this long to rent one of my houses. They seem to think they can get a 2000 sq ft house for the same rent as a 700 sq ft apt. with leaks and vermin. Happy Holidays all! Have enjoyed your responses.
