My previous insurance (Arcana Insurance) company is shutting down. Were getting around $55/month rates for $80K-100K (assessesed value) properties. Any insurance companies with comparable prices out there ? Kind regards,

It depends on where you are, I can get $500 ish per year on a property in CA valued at several times that. Insurance rates vary widely by region.

@Trevor Aydelott I get it from CIG, I can give you the name and contact for the independent agent I use if you want. They don't go everywhere, because they use that stupid inaccurate fire danger map after the big wildfires in Paradise and Santa Rosa a couple years back. But I just renewed one policy with $386k in dwelling and $1M in liability $1k deductible for $516 per year last year it was $498
