SECTION 8 AND NEGLIGENTS WILL HUD PAY?

Douglas Gratz
Posted

Good afternoon,

Long story short, tenant knocked sink piping off under sink and it leaked onto FUSE BOX.  CAUSE A LOT of DAMAGE.  HOTEL alone while waiting for condemned inspection because of corona will cost A lot.

Insurance deductible 5k, might not make sense for claim.

Will HUD PAY?

They might. I would keep my receipts and submit it. But I would not hold my breath. If they pay it would be after a long paperwork battle.

However, it's a better chance they would pay than the tenant!
