Just discovered wood floors and vinyl plank team is here!

I posted a bit ago about what flooring to put in my rentals and got lots of responses. Thanks for your input! The vinyl plank team morning and tearing up the carpet super fast to reveal ... wood floors! I didn’t know.

However the wood planks are very small and some are damaged. Now thinking maybe I should refinish instead???? I only have minutes to decide before they start slapping down glue.

I have a rental that had wood floors. Wood floors are not a good subfloor for glue down and they are wood floors! I put floating vinyl over my slightly damaged hardwood floors instead of refinishing the hardwood only because in the market the house was in, wood floors would be great for a flip, but tenants would be unusually hard on them in a rental. If I want to turn the house later, I'll unearth and refinish the hardwood. This is probably a C+/B- area.

I'd call the flooring guys off, but that's just me.
