How to amend lease for an additional tenant?

I currently have a single tenant in a 2bd apartment with about 6 months left on her lease. Her friend will be moving in and has already been approved. She doesn't know exactly how long she will be staying because it's temporary, but she said 3-6 months as an estimate. 


What's the best way to amend the lease in this situation?
