We have an extra refrigerator outside that we do use, visible from the street we live on and our landlord doesn't like it there and wants to charge us $50 extra a month for keeping it there. is this legal?

@Chris Saucedo  I would just tell you to get rid of it. Where are you located?,is that even good for the refrigerator?  that is not usual anywhere I am familiar with.  I am not sure if it is legal to charge extra, I suspect not, check with legal aid. I would  cite the maintaining the property clause when telling you to remove it.
