COVID19 THE NEW RENT CONTROL?

For over a year Baltimore City Landlords are not allowed to raise rents, every time the COVID State of Emergency is updated at the end of the month it prolongs the 90 day waiting period to raise rents.  But during this time a new law was passed, making "Source of Income" a protected class.  Has this affected anyone else?

COVID is being used as an excuse to create new regulations that stifle private property rights and contract law while padding pockets and empowering government. I don't see it get any better under the new administration.

However, creating protections for "source of income" is not new. It's been pushed in the larger cities and is slowly making it's way across the country. I really don't care because it really doesn't matter where their money comes from as long as they can prove there is a source and they pay it on time.
