Splitting Utilities between Main Floor and Basement Suite?
Hey everyone, I am a brand new investor getting ready to purchase my first Investment property. I have been looking at some properties with basement suites and I am just curious on how you would divide the utilities between the main floor renters and the basement suite renters? (Not separate entrances & the tenants usually share laundry) What would you recommend? I haven't been able to find a whole lot of info online on this subject so I figured I try here.
