What are some good options for accepting rental payments electronically? We're looking for something convenient (for both us and tenants), secure and without fees!

I accept Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle. I would say 80% of my tenants use Venmo and 10% each for CashApp and Zelle. Then I have a few tenants that still go to my bank each month and give them my checking account number and deposit that way since they don’t have any smart devices/phones.

Pros, 1-It’s supper easy to set up 2-Has an app for both the landlord and tenant 3-Provides several options for the tenant to pay including cash 4- allows the tenant to make service request 5- you can set up automatic late fee charges 6- you can send notices 7-send payment received alerts when tenants pay Cons 1- once the tenant pays. It takes about 3 -5 days for the money to be processed and deposited into your account Not a big deal to me because i can see when they pay and know when to expect it Hope this helps

Zelle and PayPal has been a good resource for us to collect funds.

I accept both Zelle and Paypal gift. Though I prefer Zelle as it lands right into my bank account.

My tenants pay via Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, and bank deposit. I use to have Chime, but they froze my account for using it as a business. Zelle 45%, CashApp 45%, PayPal 1%, Venmo 1%, PayPal 3%, bank deposit 5%

@Henley H.I use Zelle or Venmo, never had any issues. With Venmo I do the transfer to my account as soon as I see the deposit
