As an entrepreneur Mr. Kelley started his first company while still in high school and has continued to set his sights high. His career since has included positions in the corporate and private sectors alike but always quickly rising to positions of greater responsibility and always with a plan to do something bigger.
In 2004 he saw all of his hard work and planning pay off when Avalon Home Inspections opened its doors. Mr. Kelley introduced his home inspection company to clients and agents all over the Henry County area and was able to quickly prove that his product as well as the service he provided set a new expectation for competitors in his industry. He worked as an owner operator for the first 3 years increasing referral business and building a reputation as being one of the most respected home inspection providers in the Metro Atlanta area.
Today Avalon Home Inspections has a staff of 20 employees as well as a second location in Greenville, SC with plans to expand into additional markets. Mr. Kelley has also launched two additional companies which include All South Pest Control and Sewer Scope Pros allowing his team to provide a true full service experience to home buyers while also expanding service options to home owners as well.
With the home inspection industry being virtually unregulated in Georgia Mr. Kelley continues to diligently pursues additional industry accreditations for himself and his team such as Wood Destroying Organisms, Mold and Moisture Intrusion, Radon and Termite and Pest Control to ensure every client and Realtor Partner is provided with additional “peace of mind” protection.
His impressive list of certifications includes ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors), ICC (Formerly CABO), ACI, HUD/FHA, AHIT, NRPP and the Structural Pest Control License. Today Mr. Kelley oversees one of the fastest growing home inspection companies in the Southeast however the basic principles of honesty and integrity will always be the basis of how Avalon continues to redefine the home inspection industry.
