According to the Administration on Aging (AOA), those aged 65 or older will account for 72.1 million people by 2030, more than double their number in 2000. This age group holds nearly 80% of the total wealth in the United States, with an estimated 60-75% of their assets held in real estate. This reality will present both new challenges AND new opportunities for real estate investors.
