Disclaimer: BiggerPockets does not support or sponsor any meetups unless otherwise noted. Do your due diligence before attending any events. You may be agreeing to attend an event that includes promotion, pitching, or high-pressure sales tactics or techniques. Poster certifies that there will be no pitching of products or services at this event.

Notes: We will start the panel a little earlier than normal at 6:15 pm. We will be in a different room at the Elks Lodge again due to a special event. Hang a left at the front door and we will be in the space past the bar.
The panel will include Damian Lynch, who operates about a dozen syndications in Southern California. He works in all facets as a General Partner (GP) with deal finding, operating and fundraising. Next is Bjorn Beer who is a Limited Partner (LP) in several syndications and will describe his process for due diligence and “red flags” when making investments. Also on the panel will be James Furlo, also a syndication investor who is breaking into the operator side and will review notes from a recent fundraising conference he attended about finding partners and raising capital for syndications (or other group investments). Ryan Long will host the panel (feel free to forward any questions or topics you would like addressed to him at [email protected])
Meeting Date: Tuesday, March 14th
Time: Arrive at 6 pm for 6:15 start to the panel
Location: Corvallis Elks Lodge, 1400 NW 9th St, Corvallis, OR 97330
Drinks and a very limited dinner menu are available to purchase
$5 suggested donation at the door by cash or Venmo to cover facility rental
** Consult with your CPA or tax professional regarding potential tax benefits and depreciation recapture options at the disposition. All investments include risk, carefully review any opportunity against your tolerance, and time horizon while carefully vetting the "deal" and operators. Many syndications and other types of real estate partnerships are extremely illiquid.
Hosted by Jesse Brown & Ryan Long
