On May 2, 2023, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals handed down a decision in Henchey vs. Wausau Landmark Corp. that may have far reaching impact on some standard lease provisions. We will discuss the facts in the case, along with the Court’s ruling and its potential impact on residential leases.
Time permitting, I will answer landlord-tenant questions.

Ashley Lang. Ashley Lang is a real estate investor and owner of Clear Trail Properties. She currently owns and operates 6 vacation rentals and 19 mid-term rental units in central Wi, northern Wi and Upper Michigan. She also owns and manages 25+ long term rentals as well as flips single family homes. She has been in the hospitality industry for several years and thoroughly enjoys the science behind providing an unforgettable experience for her guests. Everything from where you buy your property to where you place your dinnerware is very important in the process of setting up the perfect short term rental. She also enjoys coaching her clients in the real estate space and loves to watch people live their visions!
When she is not working in her business, Ashley can be found coaching people about holistic health, mountain biking, hiking, camping, traveling and spending time with her boyfriend Buck, their son Korbin and their 3 English bulldogs.
