The main goal of the Birmingham Investor Social group has always been to help members close more deals, which in turn leads to more fun and money. With the arrival of the new year, we're introducing a new deal-focused format that will benefit both new and experienced members. If you have a property, listing, or wholesale deal that you think would be a good fit for an investor, bring it along with some information and handouts. You'll have one minute to present the essential details, followed by two minutes of questions. We aim to have 5-10 deals to examine and push towards closing.
Let's all achieve more in 24!

Trey Palmedo is the managing director of NewPoint Real Estate Capital's Nashville-based office in Tennessee. He specializes in Capital Markets for the acquisition and refinance of multifamily properties. Trey has closed over $1.1 billion in financing during his 5-year career. His clients range from regional family offices to publicly traded multi-billion dollar REITs. Trey has received various accolades, including Nashville's 30 under 30, Connect CRE's Next Generation Award, and numerous Emerging Leader awards. His commentary has been featured in Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, and multiple publications focused on multifamily housing.

Trey's personal story of homelessness and impoverished childhood has given him a unique perspective on the industry's housing capital markets. He looks to work with clients who share his passion for the "Home" aspect of the industry. When he's not golfing or providing unrequested commentary on Burgundy Pinots, Trey enjoys spending time with his wife, Katherine, and their children, Vann and Winifred. Trey holds a Bachelor's Degree from Auburn University.
Trey will join us to discuss financing more significant multi-family properties and bridging the gap with bridge funding for portfolio loans. We're excited to have him here and can't wait to see everyone!
