We're in an interesting market today with lots of uncertainty. One thing is sure, however: for the savvy investor, that means more opportunity for those with the right tools in their toolbox.

Two valuable tools are the Joint Venture and Private Money Lending (PML). This month we're presenting a panel of investors who will take you on a tour of how private lenders work with investors and a REI NWA program to help leverage these resources for larger and more profitable returns.

Private Lenders: Ken is a private funder who will describe how he operates, what he'll invest in and what he looks for in a Deal and the person who brings it to him. Here's your chance to ask questions and learn how funders think.

3rd Party Brokers: Linda will review the various types of private lenders - there are as many types of funders as there are investors. She'll talk about which ones may be right for you - and which won't fit your investment strategy.

Hard Money Lender: Tim will discuss the purpose of hard money lending, when to use it and why. He'll explore various strategies where hard money may be the right choice and worth the extra cost.

REI NWA Joint Venture Club: Kathleen will explain this dynamic program, open to qualifying members, which is actively promoting joint ventures, creative funding techniques, and finding sponsored JV projects.

Ken Hagerty is the owner of Arkansas Security, one of the top retailers in the state for alarms and surveillance cameras. A seasoned investor himself, Ken knows what investors need when building or remodeling. A member of all NWA Chambers of Commerce, Springdale Rotary, he is our guy with private money lending expertise.

Linda Breckenridge is a real estate investor with a niche in business purpose & commercial lending. Partnered with several REITs Mortgages, she gives her investor clients options to funding their fix n flips, LTR, STR, Mixed use and Commercial deals based on the 3 Cs.

Tim Bishop is a 20+ year investor/builder who frequently used Longhorn Investments to fund his projects. In 2023, Tim was chosen to as their representative to open an AR branch. He is dedicated to helping any qualified investor with a zero-down hard money loan.

Kathleen Everitt Executive Director of REI NWA, The Mentor Program and Investor Escrow Services. A former real estate agent, paralegal and trainer, Kathleen is passionate about real estate, education and elevating the small investor. She believes: if you dream it you can do it
