Rehabbing a historic home is extra work. However, the returns can outpace the neighborhood comparable when saving interior and exterior character. Many of the homes in urban Los Angeles are older and have various levels of original built-ins and feel.

This Jefferson Park house was originally a 3 bedroom 1 bath and it is being converted into a 3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. We will get hands-on with Shaun Shue and Shannon Shue, founder of Hands-On Real Estate investors MeetUp. See how a beautiful home keeps the original craftsman charm while modernizing the design.

At this meet up, we will review:

  • Acquisition and rehab costs
  • Finding the Property
  • Renovations being done
  • Re-selling the property
  • Come prepared to get a hands-on look at the nearly finished project.

    Afterwards, we will meet at:

    Nature's Brew Cafe (Near USC)
    2316 S Union Ave
    Los Angeles, CA 90007

Here we will network and talk about our needs and wants as Real Estate Investors.

    Schedule, Thursday, March 24:

6:00pm - 7:30pm: Tour the rehabbed home, review financials and acquisition. Then, we will look at the on-market home.

7:45pm-9:00pm: Meet and Greet over coffee. Note, coffee is not required nor included.
