“Contracts, Clauses, & Contingencies” w/Attorney, Kerry Anne Schultz

If there has ever been a real estate topic that EVERY level of investor needs to stay brushed up on, it’s in the area of real estate contracts. Beginning investors are typically fearful of contracts, and let their lack of knowledge keep them from moving forward on potential deals. Intermediate investors know just enough to be dangerous, and oftentimes write up their own contingencies or clauses that are sometimes vague or incomplete, and border on practicing law without a license. And experienced investors many times let their success go to their head, and just get downright sloppy in the area of contracts, sometimes opening themselves up to legal problems and unnecessary liability.

At this month’s meeting of the Professional Investors Guild, we are privileged to have one of the area’s leading experts on real estate law, Attorney Kerry Anne Schultz. Kerry Anne has taught workshops and seminars around the state, including for the Florida Association of Realtors, and other major real estate and legal organizations. She is a dear friend of our guild, and has taught at previous PIG meetings on topics such as landlord-tenant law and entity structuring. She will be bringing her unique combination of energy, enthusiasm, and unparalleled expertise to this month’s PIG meeting, as she shares some “must-know secrets” for investors and real estate professionals.

It’s not often that we can nail down an expert of this caliber, so do yourself a big favor, and DON’T MISS IT! Mark your calendars and smart phones for THURSDAY, July 20th at 7 PM on the Alabama Gulf Coast at the Daphne Civic Center, and via Live Streaming. Open to members and first-time guests, so bring a friend and come join us!
