Our speaker this month with be CPA Akiem Jones, Owner and Chief Financial Advisor at The Solutions Group Global LLC. Akiem is an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) licensed in Virginia. A long time resident of Hampton Roads, Akiem obtained his bachelor's degree in Accounting at Old Dominion University and masters in Accounting from Liberty University. With over 10 years of professional accounting, audit, and tax experience Akiem has managed billions of dollars in government funding while helping hundreds of small business and personal tax clients strengthen their financial position. As a landlord himself, Akiem approaches real estate accounting using a mix of industry research, relationships and personal experience to maximize value.
