The Comal Hays REIA meetings are back for 2020!
After a two month break, we look forward to a new year and a new decade of real estate investment opportunities. Our meeting location has temporarily changed from the San Marcos Public Library to the Stellar Coffee Co, close to the downtown square. We'll, hopefully, return to one of the library meeting rooms, after the first quarter of this new year! The library is undergoing expansion and has limited meeting room availability, due to construction.

This month's speaker, Victor Steffen, will talk about his journey as a millenial real estate investor. Victor currently runs a private equity fund (Steel Point Group) from his downtown office, has a portfolio of 1-4 unit properties in three states and is a new Austin resident. To say the least, Vic caught the real estate bug at an early age and goes after deals like a pro. He's also the new co-organizer of our Austin meetup (Central Austin Real Estate Meetup) that convenes the first Saturday of each month in the North Central area of the city.
In Vic's presentation, he'll discuss the following scenario from his own deals >
- How to Manage Properties Remotely (Long Distance Investment strategies)
- A Deal Case / Study involving Seller Financin
- How he gained experience working in Property Management, Luxury Property Sales and working with Accredited Investors on Wall Street
We look forward to connecting and networking with former and current members of the Comal Hays REIA, as well as new attendees! Our monthly meeting focus is twofold, networking locally and developing a nuts & bolts real estate investment education, similar to the BiggerPockets philosophy. Our meetings are free and open to the public. We do encourage those in attendance to support the venue by purchasing a food or beverage item.
Victor Steffen is VP of Criterion Management and the CEO of Steel Point Group LLC. A graduate of Colgate University, he's the former captain of their football team, a licensed NY real estate agent and Wall Street wealth manager.
