This is the first session of a five part series for 2020. One of the key points in such a hot market is that you need to know not just what to do and where to look but what not to do and where not to look. It is all about conserving your time and energy and focusing on the actions that will net you the best return.
I will share with you how to become very strict with how you budget your time and efforts. Its very easy to get caught up with being busy and chasing every new shiny object but never get anywhere. Learn from my thousands of transactions and from my many mistakes and many successes.
I am going to show you where and how I find 24-36 deals a year. We will go into detail the proper way to assess if a deal is even worth researching. Then the quick and easy way to research and evaluate to determine if you even get into your car and look. Its critical to spend your time wisely and visit as few properties as possible and do a majority of your research online. We will look at real life scenarios and analyze properties together.
We will also have a guest speaker. Attorney Phil Scolieri. Phil has been a real estate specific attorney for over 30 years and has been a part of any real estate transaction you can imagine. He will spend 30-45 minutes discussing asset protection, forming a corporation or LLC and what is best for your situation.
We will also have Guest speaker Matthew Stevans CPA who will discuss the best way to maximize your income tax return and to keep out of trouble with the IRS. I never do any significant changes with my businesses without consulting with my team and these two professionals should be on your team.
