Dear Moguls,
Folks I am thrilled to have two wonderful speakers that are going to present to us and share their knowledge. I want to thank the several hundred folks that have attended our online webinar’s over the past few weeks. We hope to continue to provide you with great speakers and content. Mobile home parks have been my favorite investments for a long time. As an asset manager for 4 mobile home parks, I learned a lot about the operations. Often overlooked, they are often great investments. I am pleased to have Todd Sulzinger share some of his insights with us.
Our first presenter is Todd Sulzinger of Blue Elm Investments.
Todd is the founder of Blue Elm Investments, a mobile home park operator specializing in adding value to and transforming distressed mobile home parks across the country. He has built the expertise to turn neglected mobile home parks into vibrant communities, increasing the availability of safe, clean, and affordable housing across the country, while offering investors above-market returns. Prior to Blue Elm Investments, Todd spent over 25 years as a finance executive for several Silicon Valley technology companies.
What Todd plans to discuss are these key points:
• Overview of the mobile home park industry
• Comparison of park-owned vs. tenant-owned homes
• Mobile home parks as an investing asset class
• How mobile home parks are different than other multifamily types
Our next presenter will be Scott Isaksen. Scott is the founder and CEO of Tci Building Services, helping apartment owners improve on their physical operation. He has over 12 years experience working with facilities in property management. During this time, he has helped manage facilities for condos ranging from a 152 unit complex to a 54 building, 326 unit complex. Scott has spent the last 5 years working with a property management company as a maintenance manager in the East Bay for over 100 apartment buildings.
Scott will cover
** How to acquire and evaluate commercial properties post Covid-19?
** New regulations and procedures that will play into operating remote commercial properties
** Operating expenses often overlooked by real estate investors
