Dear Moguls,
Recently, I had the pleasure to hear Attorney Katy Young present on some of the challenges in the Cannabis industry. Regardless of whether you invest in cannabis or not, this discussion will be extremely useful for all investors as it dives into legal challenges and how the courts could interpret the laws. Katy is extremely impressive, knowledgeable and engaging when it comes to legal matters.

Katy M. Young, Esq. MANAGING PARTNER, Ad Astra Law Group, LLP in San Francisco, CA
Katy represents both plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes and real estate claims, with a unique focus on matters for cannabis industry litigants. For cannabis businesses, she handles mostly partnership disputes, securities issues, and breach of contract matters, including leasing disputes and other real estate contracts. She graduated from University of the Pacific cum laude where she played water polo on scholarship and then she received her law degree from University of San Francisco where she graduated magna cum laude. She has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer Rising Star for 2014 through 2020. In 2018 and 2019, she was named to Benchmark Litigation’s top 40 under 40 list. She also the President of the InterNational Cannabis Bar Association.
