Come join us for the September InvestHER Meetup on September 17th! Kaitlyn Oakes will be talking about starting up her investing journey with her husband over the last year and where she’s headed from here.
Kaitlyn, alongside her husband, has very recently dived head first into real estate investing. While managing an active duty Army career and part time wedding planner, she has opened their home to serve as an Air BnB and short term rental unit since February 2020, and has been almost fully booked ever since. Taking these hospitality and property management skills, she is beginning to look into purchasing property for destination short term rentals and hopes to own a wedding venue and mountain resort someday, while her husband continues in the wholesale and long term rental property worlds.
