STR in Mammoth Lakes, CA

Hello BP Community! 

Does anyone have personal experience operating a STR in Mammoth Lakes, California? I have done preliminary research on the rules there but just looking for some real-world input on running an STR in a resort/ski town. I have run an AirBnb before so am familiar with what's involved but have not run one remotely.
