Grand Haven STR Market/Connections

I've been presented with an opportunity through a family friend to invest in a property in Grand Haven. The views and location are amazing and the numbers seem to check out as a short term rental but I need to learn more about the market. My family has a cottage there and we've been going for years, but we've never considered operating a STR property there until now.

I'm curious if anyone else here has experience in that market and can share tips, advice, experience?
