Got my latest host review yesterday from AIR and they took away my Superhost status. So I call up their help number where they speak something resembling English, and was told that I had violated one of the parameters.....a host cannot cancel a reservation.

I asked for the date and guest name and it was August of 2021. I looked it up on my own calendar and that was the date that I got a double booking because of Air's inability to sync correctly (you may remember a post I made about that problem last year, it happened several times).

I know for a fact that I have never cancelled a reservation from my end. The several times this happened, I called AIR and they initiated the cancellation. Why in the world would I cancel as a host when I know the consequences....? I asked to have a supervisor call me, we'll see what happens.......

Anyway, even with all the 5 star reviews and perfect response time, I am no longer a Superhost. Not sure I really care, I am pretty sure I ever saw any benefit from it.......

LOL... I got the same notice.    I'm with you.. who cares about Superhost status.   Airbnb has horrible customer service.
