Any thoughts on buying SRT close to a community hospital? Would be good to hear from someone who has experience with such STRs.

Wait a second @Suhas T.. What kind of hospital are we talking. A basic community hospital or a place that has specialty care like cancer, children's or level one trauma?

I don't see STR's working for basic community hospitals as well as with hospitals that have a specialty focus.

For example, in Seattle, a place called Pill Hill would be a decent area for patient/family stays. You have Harborview Medical (level 1 trauma), Swedish/Fred Hutch cancer, Virginia Mason (cardiac) and the Poly Clinic is close as well.

I am not saying you can't do well but make sure before you jump in.
