Hi All, wondering if anyone has any feedback on the Vermont area, specifically Isla la Motte for an STR investment?

Depends on the property.  Isle la motte is WAAAY up there and many parts are swampy.  
I have a cabin in milton on lake champlain - I do well with airbnb when I am not using it.  I know a number of people in Milton (VT on the lake) that make good money with STR - but the lakeshore is key.  Not sure if you're thinking of having waterfront or not.
