Looking at STRs in the upstate NY area, Stone Ridge or Woodstock area. Does anyone have experience in these area and whether it is a profitable year-round market?

Woodstock is not STR friendly. They have a cap on permits, and only allow a rental to book 180 days a year. At one time, they only allowed half the weekends a year to be rented, but I don't see that requirement now.
