ST Rental Arbitrage

Good Morning,

My wife and I are new to real estate and looking to get started. We are interested in starting in the STR space and have considered STR Arbitrage instead of purchasing our first property. I figured this would allow us to get all the systems in place and find out how the area preforms. I wanted to get the communities thoughts on this and if anyone has taken this approach. Thank you in advance for any and all insight.
