Rezoning Parcel After Build of ADU to Qualify for Vacation Rental Permit-Santa Cruz,C
I have one big parcel zoned at Santa Cruz County R-1-15 after building an ADU recently. We want to get a Vacation Rental Permit for stays under 30 days for ADU but current zoning doesn't allow it. What zoning code could I request a zoning variance or rezoning that would allow us to have the 2 livable units on parcel, one primary residence and one additional living unit (known currently as ADU)? County is not helpful or forth coming of process.
Also what are solid reasons/hardships I can list in my rezoning request that will get it approved?
