Some good news from the Smokies!

While this summer has been a downer, we are trending somewhat ahead of last year in bookings and revenue for August, and even/slightly ahead of last year for September and October!  The trend in fall vacations to the Smokies is less about entire family vacations and more about couples traveling to enjoy the fall weather and color change.

Good news!

Quote from @Jules Aton:

That is good news and given a choice I'd much rather host couples than families anyway. Do you think if foreclosures continue to rise there will be enough of a reduction in STR inventory to increase demand?

No, the inventory will remain. There's not much else you can do with a cabin on a hill - one usually isn't designed for any sort of long-term situation.

But demand is going to return. This has been a particularly difficult year for the area with Helene aftermath.
