STR's out of the box thinking
Hey everyone, hopefully you are all enjoying your summer. Just wanted to pass this along as thoughts on STR's. With the world back to full business so are event shows and expos. Every major and minor city for the most part has a convention center. Getting places with multi bedrooms in walking distance can be a game changer for companies looking to send multiple people to a particular show to either have a booth or just walk the floor saving those companies in their ROI for show attendance. Taking it a step further advertising show discounts can help with your attendance. Once you get a few reviews highlighting proximity, ease of access and possible show related discounts your new investment can take off. Unfortunately in Orlando this is complicated by county laws which do not allow STR's (under 30 day rentals) unless you also occupy the home. More than 30 day rentals are allowed but require special permitting and can be time consuming and costly depending on what you are trying to accomplish. Just food for thought, good luck and hopefully I'll be seeing you in Vegas!!

Hey @Matthew Lamoreaux, I can see that being a thing.
I used to travel to shows regularly. I was in charge of some huge booths at tech shows. Our company had us all booked at the local hotels but I could see using a STR instead.
The biggest thing I would want to do is make sure the local convention center has enough events and shows to support a STR. Often there are only one or 2 big shows (if that).
Vegas of course has a TON of events and shows, but restrictions on STRs keep that from being viable IMHO.
