Airbnb will not let me use a Grasshopper number. Any help?

Title says it all.
Weird thing is it lets me use a google voice and I can’t see how that’s any different?
GV stinks so I got grasshopper and I love it but it won’t connect to Airbnb. Anyone have a fix?

I give everyone my real number. My phone goes on DND after 9PM. Only immediate family will ring through.
If they have a real emergency they can call 911.
Had a tenant that had a water leak in the middle of the night and they got the fire department to come out and turn water off.
I found out the next morning after is wasn't an emergency anymore and sent my handyman over to fix the leak.
I didn't lose any sleep over it.
I have Luke's personal cell number that I will give out for $5.00 each person. I take cash, Zelle and Paypal.
